| 内容記述 | 国内の消費者に対するアンケート調査とヒアリング調査を実施したほか、タイにおいて森林と共生して農業を営む人々（山岳民族）の状況について現地調査を実施した。ヒアリング調査からは、新しい林業の形について調査を行い、流通の変化が林業のあり方に影響を与えることが明らかになった。タイの山岳民族の調査では、ミャンマーを中心とした森林伐採が下流の耐山岳地帯の生活に影響を与えているため、山岳民族の中で森林保全に対する関心が高まっている状況が観察できた。そのことが現地で森林農法を実践し始めている一因であると考えられる。研究内容は、国際開発学会、アジア市場経済学会において報告している。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | We conducted a questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews with domestic consumers, a field investigation was carried out in Thailand to examine the circumstances of mountain ethnic groups engaged in agriculture in harmony with forest ecosystems. The interview-based investigation revealed emerging trends in new forms of forestry, highlighting how changes in distribution channels are influencing the structure and practice of forestry itself.The field research among mountain ethnic groups in Thailand also observed a growing awareness of forest conservation. This heightened interest appears to be linked to the impact of upstream deforestation primarily in Myanmar on the livelihoods of people living in downstream upland areas. Such awareness is considered one of the driving factors behind the adoption of forest-based agricultural practices among local communities. | |||||||||
