| 内容記述 | In this paper I report on my recent research activities on Chinese Literature. First, Huang Jinshu’s Short Stories of the Malayan Communist Party have brought new perspectives to the world of Chinese literature in recent years. I translated Huang’s anthology into Japanese together with several other researchers. Second, the narrative scholar Kitaoka Seiji in his later years encountered Huang Jinshu’s works and was inspired to take up his pen again leading to his critical work, Huang Jinshu Counterfactual Historical Short Stories, which had a significant impact on scholars of Chinese literature. Finally, in lectures at Jinan International University and National Taiwan University, I shared my findings on the relationship between Huang Jinshu and Shen Congwen, and the relationship between Shen Congwen,Torii Ryūzō, and Torii Midori. | |||||||||
