| 内容記述 | The Startup Education Environment Development Project for technical colleges selected 56 initiatives, including our institution. At Kindai University Technical College, equipment and furnishings necessary for entrepreneurship education were procured based on input from each course, and the "Kindai University Technical College Entrepreneurial Workshop" was established on November 10, 2023. To provide evidence ensuring the safety of newly developed materials by students, we introduced a microcalorimeter (TAM IV: Thermal Activity Monitor IV). This instrument detects minute thermal changes caused by slight material degradation under various conditions. Through reaction kinetics analysis, it enables the prediction of material degradation rates and potential risks, such as ignition caused by heat accumulation, making it critical for ensuring material stability. In this study, we conducted preliminary degradation tests on biocoke provided by the Kindai University Biocoke Research Institute to familiarize ourselves with the instrument and validate its utility. Given the limited reports on the thermal behavior of biocoke during long-term storage, we measured its thermal behavior at temperatures ranging from 298.15 K to 363.15 K. From the heat flow curves obtained, reaction rate constants were determined, and activation energy was calculated based on their temperature dependence. | |||||||||
