| 内容記述 | Factors influencing the composition of biilary bilirubin glucuronides were investigated in humans and rats. In various strains of rats, lower bilirubin [UDP]-glucuronyltransferase activity [BGT] was accompanied by lower biliary [BDG] and higher [BMG] levels and C_8-BMG/C_<12>-BMG ratio. When salicylamide was administered to rats intraperitoneally, hepatic UDP-glucuronic acid [UDPGA] decreased markedly accompanied by a decrease in BDG and increase in the BMG and C_8-BMG/C_<12>-BMG ratio in bile. In portal vein occluded [PO] SD rats, hepatic UDPGA level and biliary BDG were decreased. However, the C_8-BMG/C_<12>-BMG ratio was not changed by PO. These results suggest that the hepatic UDPGA level along with BGT activity mainly detemine the composition of biliary bilirubin glucuronides. Some other factors may influence the biliary C_8-BMG/C_<12>-BMG ratio as shown in the PO rats. In patients with gallstones, the composition of biliary bilirubin conjugates was analyzed. Lower diconjugated bilirubin and higher mono-conjugated bilirubin and unconjugated bilirubin were found in hepatolithiasis compared with these in cholecystolithiasis, suggesting that bile in hepatolithias has higher lithogenicity than cholecystolithiasis. | |||||||||
