| 内容記述 | We demonstrated the presence of histamine H_1 and H_2 receptors on the synovial fidroblast using binding studies. Histamine enhanced synovial proliferation and stimulated the release of hyaluronic acid from the synovial fibroblast through the H_1 and H_2 receptors. The molecular weight of hyaluronic acid decreased upon the stimulation by histamine. This indicated that the synovial fibroblasts from rheumatoid arthritis had imperfect functions on the H_2 receptor. These findings indicate that histamine modulates the release of hyaluronic acid and that the synovitis of rheumatoid arthritis is a specific state according to the dysfunction of the histamine H_2 receptor. | |||||||||
