| 内容記述 | We report treatment of uremia and chronic renal failure in a 40-year-old male who had been diagnosed as having epilepsy at the age of 4. At the age of 14, he dropped out from school because of mental retardation, and renal insufficiency was diagnosed at the age of 30. He subsequently developed delusions of persecution and of reference. He was admitted to our hospital because of uremia and chronic renal failure on January 15, 1990. Because hemodialysis causes various changes of blood concentrations of antiepileptics, their control is very difficult in such cases. In this case, wave changes were observed on 24-hour pre- and post-hemodialysis electroencephalogram. Not only change of the basic wave but also development of paroxysmal wave were observed. | |||||||||||||||||||||
