| 内容記述 | The historical and cultural streets that have now become tourist attractions have improved their basic facilities, while the shops with local specialities have gone unnoticed and unknown to the public. Tea houses are one method of protecting tea culture. This article examines the changing functions of teahouses and the culture of the city. The teahouses on the historical and cultural streets, the special and unique buildings of the city, reveal the changing functions and the culture of the city. Since ancient times, Suzhou has had a highly developed agricultural industry, with continually expanding farmland, a wide variety of agricultural products and commercial agriculture. Tea was similarly given special treatment and industrialised. Suzhou has had a preference for tea since ancient times. Tea houses were important public spaces in the lives of Suzhou citizens, not only for leisure, but also for socialising, exchanging information and discussing local matters. The teahouse is also a place where the tea culture is carried on, and there are still customs of enjoying tea, eating tea food, and watching plays such as Kunqu Opera, Guqin, and Suzhou Pingtan. | |||||||||||||
