| 内容記述 | Relaxant responses to several vasodilator peptides and cyclic AMP-affecting drugs were compared between basilar artery rings isolated from 6-month-old SHRSP and age-matched WKY. Relaxation induced by calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) was markedly higher in SHRSP than in WKY. However, no significant differences were found in the relaxation induced by vasoactive intestinal polypeptide, peptide histidine isoleucine, atrial natriuretic peptide, and brain natriuretic peptide between the two groups. In addition, there were no differences between WKY and SHRSP in the response to forskolin, dibutyryl cyclic AMP, and 3-isobutyl-l-methylxanthine. These findings suggested that the enhanced CGRP-induced relaxation found in SHRSP results from increased sensitivity of CGRP receptors, and that CGRP has a pathophysiological role in the regulation of cerebral circulation in the presence of hypertension. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
