| 内容記述 | The present study demonstrated that the plasminogen activator (PA) and PA inhibitor (PAI) exist in brain and kidney tissues in both stroke-prone spontaneously hypertensive rat (SHRSP) and Wister Kyoto rat (WKY). The PA activity in the brain tissue of SHRSP was almost 1.5 times higher than that of WKY. However, the PAI activity of SHRSP was almost 1.2 times lower than that of WKY. The activities of both PA and PAI in the kidney tissues of SHRSP were markedly increased from 12 to 24 weeks of age, but only slishtly increased in WKY. These findings suggest that a quantitative difference in the fibrinolytic activity in the brain and kidney of SHRSP, is involved in the brain and kidney failure of SHRSP. | |||||||||||||||||
