| 内容記述 | 在庫循環は、短期における景気変動と密接な関係にあることはよく知られている。本稿では、全国および関西地域を対象に、2013年から2023年の第16循環期における在庫循環の状況を分析した。在庫率や在庫循環図を活用し、地域間での在庫循環の推移やその差異を確認した結果、以下の示唆が得られた。まず、在庫指数および出荷・在庫バランスの推移において、全国と関西で大きな違いは見られなかった。一方で在庫循環図を見れば、2015年から2019年の前半期間には、関西が全国とは逆の在庫循環サイクルを示す時期や、在庫指数の変動幅が大きいなど、地域特有の動向が確認された。コロナ禍以降は、全国・関西ともに同様の在庫循環が見られ、再び一般的な在庫調整局面に戻る動きが観察された。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The inventory cycle is well-known to be closely related to short-term economic fluctuations. This paper analyzes the inventory cycle from 2013 to 2023 during the 16th business cycle, focusing on both the national and Kansai regional economies. By utilizing inventory rates and inventory cycle charts, the study examines trends and differences in inventory cycles between these regions, yielding the following insights. First, there were no significant differences between national and Kansai trends in inventory indices or shipment-inventory balances. However, when reviewing the inventory cycle chart, specific regional trends emerged. In the first half of the period, from 2015 to 2019, Kansai exhibited an inverse inventory cycle compared to the national level, with larger volatility in its inventory index. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, similar inventory cycles have been observed in both the national and Kansai economies, with movements returning to typical inventory adjustment phases. | |||||||||
