| 内容記述 | A case of Huntington's chorea is reported. A 34-year-old woman initially developed abnormal involuntary movements at the age of 23. She has died at her age of 34. At autopsy, Huntington's chorea was confirmed by neuropathological findings. She had no known family history of Huntington's chorea, but her biological mother died at a young age. Suicide could not be ruled out in her mother's death. Therefore, the patient's family history may have included Huntington's chorea that was not clinically recognized. In terms of the young age at the onset of the disease, this case could be clinically atypical. Schizophrenic symptoms were found during the course of the disease. This finding is suggestive considering both the psychiatric and neurologic course of Huntington's chorea. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
