| 内容記述 | We have studied the effects of several anti-hypertensive drugs on the blood pressure and vascular lesions of M-SHRSP and/or SHRSP. In this study, a calcium antagonist (AE0047) was administered to 11-week-old male M-SHRSP not only for long-term treatment but also short-term treatment. Some rats were administered a combination of AE0047 and ACEI (SQ 29,852). Following long-term treatment with AE0047 alone, a significant antihypertensive effect, prolonged life span and prevention and/or reversal of hypertensive vascular lesions in various organs were apparent. Furthermore, the combination of AE0047 and SQ 29,852 seemed to be more effective than the administration of either of them alone. Angionecrosis in the kidneys disappeared following short and/or long term treatment with AE0047. These findings suggest that AE0047 has a possible role not only for significant antihypertensive effects but also for the repair of angionecrosis. | |||||||||||||||||
