| 内容記述 | Malignant or precocious stroke-prone spontaneously hypertensive rats (M-SHRSP) show severe hypertension and among them death appears by the 15th week of age. Though various fundus changes appeared with severe hypertension, typical hypertensive papilledema was rarely observed in rats. In the course of sustained administration of a hypotensive drug, typical hypertensive papilledema was observed in M-SHRSP. Pathological examinations showed intraluminal stenosis of the central retinal artery and accumulation of edema fluid at the disc of the M-SHRSP. Although there was a difference in the architecture of central retinal artery and optic nerve between the rats and human, the ischemic change of the optic nerve head may play an important role in the evolution of hypertensive papilledema. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
