| 内容記述 | 本研究では学歴獲得に対する階層差が生じるメカニズムを解明するために、高校生とその母親1020ペアを対象としたアンケート調査と個票データから選抜した親子に対するインタビュー調査を独自に実施し、社会階層の2次効果と呼ばれる、教育選択の階層差が生じるプロセスを解明した。そのことで学歴獲得の不平等の生成メカニズムがマクロな社会構造に埋め込まれている側面を明確にした。本研究の成果は、『学歴獲得の不平等：親子の進路選択と社会階層』として勁草書房から刊行されている。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | In this study, we conducted a survey of 1,020 pairs of high school students and their mothers, along with interviews with selected parent-child pairs based on questionnaire and individual data, in order to elucidate the mechanisms behind educational attainment inequality. We identified the processes contributing to social class disparities in educational choices, commonly referred to as the secondary effects of social stratification. The findings of this study have been published as 'Inequality in Educational Attainment: Parental Pathways and Social Stratification' by Keiso Shobo. | |||||||||
