| 内容記述 | 本研究では、周旋業者・貸座敷業者が作成した経営史料といった一次史料を用いて、貸座敷業者の経営実態や前借金が容易に返済できないカラクリ、周旋方法などを公娼制度の時期的変化や地域的差異をふまえて具体的に分析した。また、娼妓の手紙から、性売女性の経験や女性の主体的営為の意味を、貸座敷業者・周旋業者・「家」との諸権力関係に注意しつつ考察し、近代日本の公娼制度の搾取構造と娼妓の主体性の内実を歴史具体的に明らかにした。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This research investigates the movement of licensed prostitutes from one brothel to another and their method of repaying debts by analyzing primary sources, including letters written by prostitutes and business records kept by brothel owners and procurers. Through this analysis, my research sheds light on the exploitative nature of modern licensed prostitution and reexamines the perception of licensed prostitutes as autonomous actors within the system. | |||||||||
