| 内容記述 | この研究プロジェクトは非常に実り多いもので、目標を達成することができた。まず、私たちはアンケートを作成し、学生グループに試用させた。このアンケートを用いて、大学生約600名のモチベーションを測定した。アンケートは1学年の間に3回実施し、同じ学生を2年間追跡することができた。また、語学力の測定も行い、2年間で8人の学生にインタビューを行うことができた。このインタビューによって、生徒のモチベーションについてさらなる洞察を得ることができた。私たちはいくつかの国際会議で研究結果を発表し、私たちの専門分野の高いレベルの学術誌に2本の論文を発表することができた。また、3本目の論文は学術誌に投稿済みである。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This research project was very fruitful and we were able to achieve the goals. First, we developed a questionnaire and piloted it with a group of students, and then we modified it and conducted our main study. We used the questionnaire to measure the motivation of approximately 600 Japanese university students. The questionnaire was administered three times over the course of an academic year, and we were able to give the questionnaire to the same cohort of students for two years. We also measured their language proficiency, and we were able to interview eight students multiple times over the course of two years. These interviews gave further insights into the motivation of students. Having gathered the data, we presented the results of our study at several international conferences and have been able to publish two papers in high-level academic journals within our field. We also have a third paper which has been submitted to a journal for consideration. | |||||
