| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between mentalizing, problems in the childhood nurturing environment, and reflection from the perspective of the balance of mentalizing. A total of 326 students were asked to respond to questions regarding their mentalizing, problems in their childhood nurturing environment, and reflection. The results showed that those who had problems with their childhood nurturing environment had significantly higher other-related mentalizing, significantly lower self-related mentalizing, and more frequent reflection. Those with higher levels of both other-related mentalizing and self-related mentalizing abilities tended to reflect more deeply, including negative aspects of themselves. Those with high self-related mentalizing and low other-related mentalizing tended to reflect frequently but not to look at their negative selves. Some individuals had high mentalizing ability even when their childhood upbringing was problematic. | |||||||||
