内容記述 | This study investigates efforts to enhance the effectiveness of statistics education for humanities university students from 2017 to 2022. In 2020, a flipped classroom approach was introduced, followed by the implementation of a story-based exercise grounded in the Goal-Based Scenario (GBS) model in 2022. Course evaluation surveys indicated high evaluations of the course materials, and the introduction of both the flipped classroom and story-based exercise significantly increased student satisfaction with course management. Furthermore, grading results revealed that the story-based exercise showed significant learning effects in the acquisition of advanced statistical methods. However, the effect of these pedagogical changes on the acquisition of basic statistical skills was less pronounced. The combination of the flipped classroom and story-based exercise, as presented in this study, suggests a promising approach to teaching statistics to humanities students. | |||||||||
