| 内容記述 | In this study, we developed a speech captioning system to support learning of students with hearing impairments in university classes. We proposed a method to alleviate the burden of transcribing lecture audio required for finetuning speech recognition to captionize advanced technical terms by utilizing generative AIs. Using this method, we finetuned the speech recognition model Whisper and confirmed improvements in accuracy across multiple classes. Subsequently, we developed and operated the captioning system for lecture audio by combining Whisper with OBS Studio, supporting a student with hearing impairment during classes. | |||||||||||||
