| 内容記述 | A 40-year-old woman was hospitalized with a bleeding tendency. On physical examination, the patient revealed generalized purpura and right eye lid swelling. Peripheral blood findings presented pancytopenea with the large myelocytic and monocytic leukemic cells. These leukemic cells were negative for α-naphthyl butyrate esterase but positive for peroxidase and naphthol chroloacetate esterase reaction. Bone marrow aspiration was revealed N.C.C. (nuclear cell count) of 8.9×10^4/ l with 96% cells. Chromosome analysis of bone marrow cells by the G-banding method indicated tetraploidy. A diagnosis of acute myelomonocytic leukemia (FAB : M4 ) was made. The patient was treated with anti-leukemic chemotharapy which proved infective. She died of DIC with severe bacterial infection about 2 weeks later. Autopsy revealed multi organ invasion of leukemic cells and intraglomerular microthrombosis in the kidney. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
