| 内容記述 | This paper began with a small observation I made while playing the piano as a hobby in both Korea and Japan, namely that the translated titles of classical piano pieces in Korean and Japanese are remarkably similar. The purpose of this paper is to find out whether this similarity is due to mere chance or based on some concrete cause. I conclude that the reason for the similarity is to be found in the influence that Japan brought to bear on the process of acceptance of Western music in Korea. | |||||||||||
