| 内容記述 | Reserpine, a hypotensive drug, was intramuscularly administered at 0, 5, 7.5 mg/kg to pregnant SHRSP on day 9 of gestation. Maternal weight gain, maternal blood pressure, maternal food intake and maternal water intake were significantly reduced in a dose-dependent manner. At term, the number of implants, litter size and fetal body weight were unaffected. but the number of dead fetuses and incidence of external anomalies were significantly higher in the groups receiving 5 or 7.5 mg/kg reserpine compared to those in the controls. As for the external anomalies, only hematoma was observed. These findings showed greater adverse effects compared with those of treatment on day 8 of gestation. Therefore, developmental toxicity of reserpine in SHRSP is influenced by the exposure time. | |||||||||||||||||
