| 内容記述 | Cultured astrocytes derived from the mouse cerebral cortex were immunostained with GFAP antisera or observed by transmission electron microscopy. 87% of a total of 1,322 cells were GFAP-positive. These cells were generally flat and adendritic. With the electron microscope, 66% of a total of 299 cells were identified as astrocytes on the basis of the presence of glial filaments. However, 21% were an intermediate type between astrocytes and oligodendrocytes, since they contained glial filaments and microtubules in equal amounts. Interestingly, these intermediate cells tended to be independently distributed on the plastic surface. | |||||||||||||||||||||
