It is an essential research topic for unraveling the history of regional education because this method is characterized by (1) the portrayal of regional life in written works and (2) its unique evolution deeply rooted in local communities. Nevertheless, the research on seikatsu-tsuzurikata in the three prefectures of the Hokuriku region, Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui, during the 1930s has been progressing at a sluggish pace. First, it is imperative to identify the educators who may have displayed an interest in seikatsu-tsuzurikata within the three prefectures. We compiled a list of the educators who appeared in magazines related to seikatsu-tsuzurikata. Our investigation revealed that educators such as Jogoro Iihara and Yosaburo Shaura from Toyama Prefecture, Yoneda Seisaku from Ishikawa Prefecture, and Shigeru Okajima from Fukui Prefecture contributed theoretical articles to these magazines.
