| 内容記述 | The wooden frame used for performing kamishibai (paper theater) is called a “stage,” and it has been used since the early Showa era when kamishibai originated. However, it is often not used in childcare scenes today for reasons of convenience. Nevertheless, the frame serves as a medium that draws the audience into the world of the play when the curtain opens and the story begins. In street kamishibai, which gained popularity among children, the frame was an indispensable element that separated the real world from the world of the story. This paper discusses the role and importance of the stage in kamishibai from the perspective of theater. | |||||||||
