The purpose of this paper is to research developments of infants lived in suburb cities (Chikuho area located in Fukuoka prefecture) in Japan during the COVID-19 pandemic. We researched developments of 3-year-olds for asking their parents to use “KIDS (Kinder Infants Development Scale). 335 answers were analyzed. Results were as follows. (1) Comparison of points of KIDS among kindergartens, nursery schools and certified child centers showed no significant differences. (2) All of 8 Subscales of KIDS showed significant correlation. (3) Points of 7 Subscales (“Physical motor”, “Manipulation”, “Receptive language”, “ Expressive language”, “Social relationships with children”, “Social relationships with adults” and “Discipline”) excluded points of “language concepts” showed significant differences in gender. Finally, from the research of this year we would measure development of infants, in addition to using KIDS rated by their parents. |
