Peculiarity – “island nation”, “language”, “religious belief”, “education standard”, and “homogeneity” – brings about “illusion of being selfcontained” and “misconception of being self-sufficient”, and “fallacy of uniformity”. On the other hand, our society has not been able to make the most of “The Constitution of Japan and the post-war democratisation”, and “the status as the only country to have been suffered from atomic bombs”.
