| 内容記述 | 我々は、内膜症関連卵巣癌（卵巣明細胞癌）について、発癌メカニズムに焦点を当てて研究を行った。これまでの既報のデータを解析し、内膜症と診断されてから卵巣癌と診断されるまでの期間が短いことを見出した。このことは、真の良性の内膜症性嚢胞から発癌することは考えにくいことを示唆している。そして卵巣明細胞癌症例では、正所性子宮内膜や、併存する子宮内膜症には、卵巣腫瘍とは無関係のPIK3CA変異が多く認められ、発癌におけるDNA修復機構の異常が存在が示唆された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | We studied endometriosis-associated ovarian cancer (ovarian clear cell carcinoma) with a focus on the mechanism of carcinogenesis. We analysed previously published data and found that the time between the diagnosis of endometriosis and the diagnosis of ovarian cancer was short. This suggests that carcinogenesis from a benign endometriotic cyst is unlikely. In ovarian clear cell carcinoma cases, uterine endometrium and endometriosis were often associated with PIK3CA mutations unrelated to the ovarian tumour, suggesting the presence of abnormal DNA repair mechanisms in the carcinogenesis. | |||||
