In this study, we performed a comprehensive quantitative analysis of proteins in the liver and adipose tissue of mice that were fed a high-fat diet for 5 weeks and were in a state of very early metabolic syndrome. The results showed that the progression of glycogenesis is suppressed in the very early stage of the metabolic syndrome, which may trigger the metabolic abnormalities.
