| 内容記述 | [概要] Flame reactions can be demonstrated by various methods of demonstration experiments and hands-on activities. Ten simple and easy experiments were shown for students and instructors, and the most efficient method for each experiment was investigated. In a demonstration experiment ,a metal salt and aqueous methanol solution were added to an aluminum pudding container and ignited. After ignition, the container was heated by a burner and a big bright-colored flame could be observed. In a hands-on activity, a metal salt, stearic acid, and methanol were placed into a screw bottle, and it makes the thing like a candle from the core of cotton or glass wool yarn. This activity is useful for understanding the fundamental phenomenon of combustion, which is explained by the science of a candle. 演示実験や体験実験において色々な方法で炎色実験をおこなう場合について検討した。体験実験の場合は金属塩とステアリン酸およびメタノールをスクリュー瓶にいれ、綿あるいはガラスウールの芯でロウソク様のものを作り、ロウソクの科学に見られるような燃焼の基本を示唆できるものが薦められる。また演示実験の場合はアルミニウム製プリン容器などに金属塩とメタノール水溶液を加え、点火後にバーナなどで加熱する方法が薦められる。(カラー原稿は、URL:http://www.kindai.ac.jp/rd/research-center/rist/bulletin/index.htmlで閲覧可能) |
