 note = {研究成果の概要（和文）：世界各地の伝承・伝統薬物資源から潰瘍性大腸炎やクローン病などの炎症性腸疾患の治療に有用な医薬シーズを探索することを目的とする．すなわち，炎症性腸疾患の活動期において観察されるTNF-αの過剰産生により惹起される各種臓器障害や炎症反応などの種々の生体内イベントを軽減あるいは調節できる天然由来低分子化合物を探索するとともに，その活性発現の必須構造や構造活性相関を明らかにする．加えて，その病変部に顕著な増加が認められているマクロファージや好中球などのiNOS陽性細胞の活性化抑制作用およびその作用機序解明研究を実施し，もって新たな難治性炎症性疾患治療薬シーズを発見，提案することを目的とする．
研究成果の概要（英文）：To explore new therapeutic candidates for aimed to overcoming of inflammatory bowel diseases from traditional natural resources worldwide, we searched for active constituents that regulate several inflammation reactions caused by over productions of NO and TNF-alfa etc in iNOS-positive cells.
