The reason why The researcher(I) am interested in Australian History Education system is that it is an inquiry and research based methods. My research questions are below; 1. How to conduct inquiry/research-based education in classroom, 2. Benefits of inquiry/research based history education, 3. Difficulties in conducting inquiry/research based education, 4. Influence of the National Curriculum introduced. The research found that the new history curriculum and syllabus introduced historical thinking concepts to enhance students’ competency skills.
