A solar race car operates at a high speed, and thus, the car design must consider the drag from the airflow around the car. Reduction of the air drag is critical for improving solar race car performance. In this study, the flow around a solar race car was analyzed using commercially available computational fluid analysis software. Using a 2016 KUTC solar car as a fluid analysis model,the flow field around the solar car was clarified.
