The descriptions in their reflection papers were analyzed. The results show that, at relatively early stages of the training, they became to appreciate their own rights to express their feelings and requests. This suggests the effectiveness of AT to reduce over-adaptation tendency by encouraging self-expression. In addition, participants became to believe the possibility that the balanced respects for self and others could be achieved in everyday communication, by knowing some skills, such as reducing own request to a definite and concrete one.
