The principal researcher submitted to village community and the regional finance in the early modern Japan. We confirmed that the lasting mutual financial associations 'Eizoku-ko' were founded in Kami-shiojiri village. The main member of the Eizoku-ko were the silkworm egg merchants who lived in Kami-shiojiri village.
