| 内容記述 | [要旨]事業の多角化は企業が持続的に成長する上で，重要な戦略となっている。経営戦略やコーポレート・ファイナンスの分野で，多くの研究が蓄積されている。しかし，多角化が企業のパフォーマンスにもたらす影響である多角化効果については依然として合意が形成されていない。本研究では企業が多角化戦略を採用する動機について整理を行い，多角化効果が生じる背景について明確にする。また，多角化戦略の経済的な帰結について整理を行い，多角化効果の中身について議論を行う。 [Abstract] Diversifying the business is a vital strategy for companies to achieve sustainable growth. There exist enormous papers which are investigated the whether the corporate diversification effects on the performance. However, it remains controversial. The purpose of this paper is to summarize the motives for the diversification from the view point of the theory of management strategy and corporate finance. This may be allowed us to clarify the background of the economic consequences resulted from the diversification. |
