内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to investigate the mental health of junior college students majoring in early child care and education. In this study, three questionnaires were administered : University Personality lnventory-GR Short Version (UPI-GRSV), Junior College Life Maladjustment(JCLM), and Pre-School Teacher Efficacy(PSTE). One hundred and twenty eight students participated in this survey and all results were analyzed. The main results were as follows: (1) UPI-GRSV showed positive correlation with JCLM and showed negative correlation with PSTE. In addition, JCLM showed negative correlation with PSTE. (2) Exploratory factor analysis was performed on JCLM and revealed four factors: declining motivation to be a preschool teacher, declining motivation to study in Junior college, declining sense of belonging to the community, and difficulty achieving lessons and tasks. (3) Compared with the low score group, the high score group of UPI-GRSV showed significantly higher scores on all factor scores of JCLM. Finally, the author suggests that the use of these scales can quickly identify students requiring support and lead them to appropriate support. Sophistication of student support system is required for our junior college. | |||||||||
