内容記述 | When we construct a tutoring system of programming for beginners, we should make it maintain the problem specification insome form so that it can refer to it to examine whetherthe student's program is correct or not and to generate suitable advices when it has some mistakes, corresponding to the diversity beginner's programs generate. However, there are various difficulties in direct formalization of the specification. One of the systems that avoid them is PROUST[2]. It examines the student's program and generate advices by preparing all program patterns written by students even if correct and wrong beforehand and matching it with them. But it is very difficult and time consuming to collect all patterns for every newly made program problem. Therefore it is necessary to adopt an intermediate method to specify the specification. Then we propose the Map of Cause and Effect as a specification method of programming problem. It combines the flow chart and the data flow diagram and has some devices to correspond to diversity of student's programs. It is similar to Odell's event diagram [3] [4] [5] [6] but differs in the sense that it serves not only to generate a program like his but also to examine the program correctness and generate some advices | |||||||||||||
