Poly(spiroorthocarbonate)s were synthesized by polycondensation of bis-catechols having cardo structures with tetrachlolobenzodioxole in chlorobenzene solution. Obtained poly(spiroorthocarbonate)s had thermal stability and transparency because of aromatic spiroorthocarbonate structures.
