However, employers are showing signs of becoming increasingly selective in their hiring, strengthening their interview processes to recruit only those with the ability to adapt to the realities of a given position. These changes are being made in response to the increasing number of new hires leaving their jobs. This paper reports on the experiences of two female students who recently graduated from college and began working in the competitive media industry.
