To clarify this new concept, the traditional definition of the theory of architecture is explained together with the problems associated with it. One of the main issues is the fact that architectural theory has tended to focus on the buildings themselves and not on the whole system encompassing human beings, buildings, and their surroundings. In other words, the new theory, the environmental theory of architecture, is defined as \"the theory that aims to systematically understand physical structures in their environment as a whole and the essence of that environment.\" Then, experimental projects are introduced in order to demonstrate how students show their insightful attitudes toward the environment around them. The students rediscovered the intrinsic value of their hometowns and the shops in the surrounding areas. In this paper, all considerations of the importance of the environmental theory of architecture are from the sentence: \"What is the meaning of the existence of being in the house\" ? From this approach, I was able to find very important ideas regarding the environmental theory of architecture.
