内容記述 | [Abstract] We propose an electric wheelchair that can be used easily by anyone with new method as a way to do controlled by voice recognition. Previous our studies, as the recognition rate improved method of voice recognition, it was found that a method of categorizing resembling words is useful. Case of used the instruction word for electric wheelchair, "MA-E", "U-SHI-RO", "MI-GI" and "HI-DA-RI", the method is getting a recognition rate of more than 90%. Another way, we have proposed a method in accordance with a sound gathering parabola. The method is useful when an operator controls the wheelchair without a microphone of head mount type. The operator needs use the microphone of head mount type for voice recognition. However the microphone is annoyance for operator. Therefore, the parabola is useful because do not have to mounted on the head. In this paper, we carried out an environment experiment using those two method and verified about utility of the voice recognition. As a final result, to obtain a recognition rate of 93% at a distance 400mm from the mouth using a parabolic diameter of 140mm. | |||||||||
