内容記述 | [Abstract] Written composition tasks are conducted for the purpose of developing writing ability at Kinki University Technical College. Compositions submitted by students were corrected and scored regarding notation, vocabulary, grammar, constitution, and logicality. Errors in construction were frequent and often common among compositions. In this study, two questions are addressed: (1)What points of attention are necessary when students create a written composition? (2)What guidance points should teachers strengthen to ensure students' competence? This paper will address these questions based on an investigation of 90 written compositions submitted by second and third graders (US grades 11,12) and the follow-up discussion. Results show that training in composition structure before writing (pre-correction), attention to structure while writing (in-correction), and the composition correction by teachers after submission (post-correction) are necessary. | |||||||||
