Native Japanese-speaking students were trained on two English minimal pairs. Two research questions were asked: 1) To what extent can the success of perceptual training studies conducted by a native English speaker be replicated by a non-native teacher using an audio device? 2) How will students react to the training? The effectiveness of the training was measured by pre-training and post-training tests. The results of the testing showed that clear gains were made. The questionnaire showed that the learners believed instruction on phoneme perception to be valuable., 著者専攻(加瀬): 英語教育学, 著者専攻(ジョンセン): 英語教育学, application/pdf}, pages = {239--251}, title = {〈RESEARCH NOTES〉 Can a Non-Native Speaker Train Students in English Phoneme Acquisition? ― A Classroom Study ―}, volume = {3}, year = {2012}, yomi = {カセ, カヨコ and ジェンセン, ジェームス} }
