| 内容記述 | [Abstract] This paper examines a recent attempt to apply an acculturation-based approach to a second language acquisition (SLA) program with limited resources at Shingu High School affiliated with Kinki University. Referring to strategies and hypotheses and finding relations among them, the author describes and analyzes the activities that she designed and implemented at the school (April 2006-March 2010), with the goals of encouraging the students to overcome their anxieties about interacting with L1speakers of English and to enjoy learning English with a better understanding of the language as a culture. This SLA program was named ACE (Advanced Curriculum of English) Project. This paper will discuss a series of activities that were implemented in March 2010. | |||||||||
