| 内容記述 | 【概要】Chandler 命題: 近代産業企業の興隆を検討することである。(1)近代産業企業の定義とその役割は何か? (2)いつ, どういう状況でこの新しい機関は発展したのか? (3)近代多単位階層別企業がなぜ特定の産業で発展したのか? これらの質問への解答は, 最初の近代産業は鉄道であり, その組織革新及び会計革新こそが近代産業企業の興隆因であり, Chandlerの著作より経営史的に探究する。 【Abstract】 The Purpose of this paper is to review Chandler's proposition, namely, the rise of the modern industrial enterprise. First, What defines the modern industrial enterprise and what are its functions ? Second, when and under what circumstances did this new institution develop ? Third, why did the modern multiunit hierarchical firm come to dominate certain industry ? The answer to these questions is in railroad's organizational innovation. I shall concentrate on exploring this organizational innovation and accounting innovation on the basis of the historical findings in Chandler's "The Visible Hand" (1977). | |||||||||
