| 内容記述 | [概要]本論文は, 時流に乗り企業進化論の視点から, 企業の海外進出のみならず, 出自国への回帰現象を立証せんと試みるものである。 経済, 社会, 企業は機械ではなく, 有機体に似ている。 多国籍企業の存在は知識市場の失敗によるのではなく, 国境を越えた知識移転に卓越したものを持つのが多国籍企業だ, という。 つまり, 暗黙知の国際移転は企業間ではなく企業内部で行われる傾向があるということを意味する。 この知識についても第4節(次号)で議論する。 まず第2節では, 多国籍企業を進化論的にみて筆者がどう捉えているかを述べ, 残りの部分で多国籍企業の海外進出がどのように理論的に説明されてきたかを概観する。 多国籍企業はメカニックな組織というよりは有機的組織, 生体である。それを決めるのが遺伝子(ルーチン)である。 企業の対外投資はそれまでに蓄積してきた知識を複製するプロセスである。 第3節では, コグー=ザンダー(Kogut and Zander,1993, 以下K&Zと略す)の研究を紹介し, それに関する議論を行う。 第4節(以降は次号に掲載)では, 多国籍企業の出自国への回帰について議論する。 一例として, 第二次世界大戦後のアメリカ合衆国による対欧投資を挙げる。 第5節は全体のまとめとして位置付ける。 [Abstract] This article tries to establish a theory of returning the multinational enterprises (MNEs) to their home country as well as their expansion to foreign countries. An enterprise is very similar to the organic being. MNEs are defined that they achieve the transfer of tacit knowledge beyond borders excellently, and only the market failure theory produce MNEs. This article addresses firstly how the present writer understands MNEs, then. existing theories of MNEs are explained. Secondly, introducing and discussing the article of Kogut and Zander (Kogut, Bruce and Udo Zander(1993), 'Knowledge of the firm and the evolutionary theory of the multinational corporation', Journal of International Business Studies, 24, pp. 625-645.). In the next issue, thirdly, we discuss the return of home countries of MNEs employing an example of U.S. investments against European countries after Second World War. Finally, we sum up this article. |
