| 内容記述 | [概要] 連合東インド会社は, 1602年, 世界初の株式会社としてオランダに設立され, 200年近くの活動を行った。本論文では, これまでの研究で問題が多いとされた同社の会計システムに焦点をあて, それが同社衰退の主因であったかどうかを論じる。そして, 同社の会計システムが旧システムのままであった本国と複式簿記を採用した在外商館という, 2面性を持ったものであることを明らかにし, またその他の会計史料の分析を加えて検討し, その結果, 会計システムだけが同社衰退の原因でないことを明らかにする。 [Abstract] This paper focuses on the relation of the management and the bookkeeping system in Dutch East India Company. A main point of arguments is whether the cause of a decline of the company originates in it. The company had two accounting systems. One was a rough estimate in Netherlands native country, and another was the newest double entry bookkeeping in a foreign office. As a result of examining these, it became clear that the cause of a decline of the company is based not only on a accounting system but on various causes. |
