| 内容記述 | [概要] 本稿の目的は, アスペルガー症候群(Asperger Syndrome)の特徴を見せる大学生への支援の重要性について議論し, 日本の大規模校における具体的な支援の方法について検討することを目的とする。アスペルガー症候群は発達障害の一つで, 社会性に乏しく, コミュニケーションが苦手で, 想像力が弱いという特徴がある(Wing, 1981)。日本においては, 大学入学以降, アスペルガー症候群であるか, あるいはその傾向を見せる大学生は, 勉強や大学生活でしばしば困ることがある。これには, 大学入学以前に比べ, 教員やスタッフがアスペルガー症候群とその支援について十分な理解を持ち合わせていないこと, 彼らの思考と行動パターンが日本の大学の環境に適していないことが背景にある。本研究は, アスペルガー症候群の大学生に対する支援についての先行研究をレビューする。そして, 日本の大学でこのような障害を持っていたり, 傾向を示したりする大学生についての認識や支援について議論する重要性を示す。 [Abstract] The purpose of this research is to discuss the importance of positive actions for students with symptoms of Asperger syndrome, and to investigate how to support them in large Japanese Universities. Asperger syndrome is an autism spectrum disorder. People with Asperger syndrome have difficulties in social interaction, alongside restricted and repetitive interests and behavior. In Japan, upon entering university, they often have difficulties with class activities and study, and tend to be labelled as disruptive. There are two reasons for this. One is because there is less understanding and support from university teachers and staff rather compared to previous schools. The other reason seems to be that the behavioral and thinking patterns are not adequate for the environment of Japanese university life. According to our review of literature relating to support for students with Asperger syndrome, this research demonstrates the importance of discussion about students with Asperger syndrome symptoms, and support for them in the current context of Japanese universities. |
