| 内容記述 | [Abstract] As the results of 20 times of line transect censuses, 37 avian species were recorded in the area around Kyushu Junior College of Kinki University. In the middle basin of Ongagawa River, we observed the waterfowls such as herons and the Spotbill Duck, the grassland birds like the Siberian Meadow Bunting and the Oriental Great Reed Warbler, or valuable species like the Osprey and the Common Kingfisher. On the other hand, the forest birds such as the Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker and the Japanese Bush Warbler, Paridae were found around Gokokujin Park. Birds being urbanized like crows and the Tree Sparrow, or the Barn Swallow were observed in both areas. The species seemed to drop in during migration, such as the Marsh Sandpiper and the Grey-spotted Flycatcher, or the Brown Flycatcher, were also recorded, this suggests that the study areas are migratory stopoverof the migratory birds. These results show that the area around Kyushu Junior College of Kinki University has a great variety of avifauna. It is useful for early childhood education to use such an abundant avifauna after having done the laborer such as the observing with window shade and the monitoring of the bird table. | |||||||||||||
